Life is full of these questions
Some superficial
Some of significance

Here is a list
Of my what ifs
So please indulge me
As I go through this.

What if
I was never born?
What if
My mom never was?

What if
I would've had a dad?
What if
He didn't bail?

What if
I got better grades?
What if
They came easy?

What if
My family had money?
Would things
Look different now?

I married the first girl I truly loved?
What if
I even asked to begin with?

I never had kids?
Or,
The kids that I have now?

This life is a total waste of time?

It's all a lie?
