Loneliness
Every morning
The same
An empty space
Where you once laid.
What a great feeling it was
With you by my side.
When I wake up now
I feel empty inside.
Oh, you're still here
Only not in this room.
Oh, how I long for you
To rejoin me again soon.
I lay here and wait
My head it just spirals.
What are you waiting for
When I'm here all the while.
We kiss and we tease
Through the whole day.
But at the end of it
Alone I still lay.
What do I do
While I lie here alone?
I stare at the ceiling.
I glance at my phone.
That's not how I want this
I've even told you so.
I hate feeling lonely.
I hate being alone.
So why don't you join me
In this big lonely bed?
So these thoughts that I'm writing
Get out of my head.
